Meet our team

Niel Cope
Managing Director

Niel Cope has developed people and organisations for over 25 years. Niel has strategic experience in private, public and charitable sectors.

Niel has an MA in Strategic HR Management, a Post Graduate qualification in Law and HR Development, and is a fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personal and Development (CIPD) and the Chartered Management Institute.

Yvonne Cope
Director

Yvonne runs the “engine room” at People Matters, keeping everyone in order and ensuring the business runs smoothly. She is responsible for all financial and administrative matters.

Samantha Croston
HR Business Partner

Samantha has worked for People Matters HR since 2017 and acts as first point of contact to our clients. Sam is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University and has a degree in HR Business and Management.

Sam has quickly become our in-house expert on BreatheHR.

Jen Tottey
HR Business Partner

Jen is the newest member of the team joining us in 2018 and acts as first point of contact to our clients. She is an experienced manager before specialising in HR. Like Sam and Niel, Jen studied HR at Manchester Metropolitan University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
